Method: The research was a quasi-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The Child-Parent Relationship Scale (CPRS) (Pianta,1994) and Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) (Achenbach & Rescorla, 2001) were employed for measuring the variables. The statistical population consisted of all Iranian 7-10-year-old children with multiple disabilities and their mothers, and the statistical sample included 10, 7-10-year-old children with multiple disabilities and their mothers. During the intervention, the children engaged in multisensory storytelling for eight 20-minute sessions held twice a week. Findings: The results revealed that the multisensory storytelling decreased child-mother dependency and enhanced their closeness since the p-value equaled
