Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of autism with theory of mind and the effectiveness of education in patients with schizophrenia. The research method is descriptive-survey and the type of research is pre-test and post-test. The statistical population is schizophrenic patients, including children aged 10-12 years, divided into two groups, half in the treatment group and the other half in the control group. 32 patients with schizophrenia were studied. They received extensive skill and emotional training - and 16 received training. Data gathering tool is library and field research which used questionnaire to measure autism and theory of mind. Spss software was used for data analysis and covariance analysis was used to test the hypotheses. According to the results of the study, socio-emotional skills are effective on autism traits in schizophrenic patients. Social-emotional skills influence the theory of mind in patients with schizophrenia
