اضطراب و افسردگی در کودکان از چالشهای رو به رشد سلامت روان هستند که تحت تأثیر عوامل خانوادگی قرار میگیرند. این پژوهش با هدف بررسی رابطه بین صفات شخصیتی والدین، سبکهای فرزندپروری و خودکارآمدی والدین با اضطراب و افسردگی کودکان 8 تا 12 ساله در تهران انجام شد. دادهها از 200 جفت والد-کودک با استفاده از پرسشنامههای Big Five Inventory (BFI)، Parenting Styles and Dimensions Questionnaire (PSDQ)، Parental Self-Efficacy Scale و Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) تحلیل شدند. تحلیلهای همبستگی، رگرسیون چندگانه و تحلیل مسیر نشان داد که روانرنجوری والدین با اضطراب و افسردگی کودکان همبستگی مثبت و قوی (r=0.45, p

Anxiety and depression in children are growing mental health challenges that are influenced by family factors. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between parental personality traits, parenting styles, and parental self-efficacy with anxiety and depression in 8- to 12-year-old children in Tehran. Data from 200 parent-child pairs were analyzed using the Big Five Inventory (BFI), Parenting Styles and Dimensions Questionnaire (PSDQ), Parental Self-Efficacy Scale, and Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL). Correlation, multiple regression, and path analyses showed that parental neuroticism was positively and strongly correlated with children's anxiety and depression (r = 0.45, p < 0.001) and negatively and significantly correlated with parental self-efficacy (r = -0.30, p < 0.001). Self-efficacy acted as a partial mediator between authoritative style and children's psychological problems. These findings highlight the importance of educational interventions to improve self-efficacy and parenting styles, emphasizing the Iranian cultural context. The results are consistent with Iranian and international studies and provide suggestions for future research and practical applications.
