اختلالات اضطرابی و افسردگی از شایعترین مشکلات روانشناختی هستند که میتوانند با بیماریهای جسمی و رفتارهای پرخطر همراه باشند و سلامت فردی و اجتماعی را تحتتأثیر قرار دهند. پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی رابطه اضطراب و افسردگی با بیماریهای جسمی و رفتارهای پرخطر در جمعیت جوان ایرانی انجام شد. این مطالعه بهصورت مقطعی بر روی ۳٬۰۱۳ نفر از افراد ۱۹ تا ۴۰ ساله شامل دانشجویان دانشگاه ملایر و آشنایان آنان انجام گرفت که به روش در دسترس انتخاب شدند. دادهها با استفاده از زیرمقیاسهای اضطراب و افسردگی چکلیست علائم ۹۰ سؤالی بازنگریشده و پرسشنامه محققساخته مربوط به بیماریهای جسمی و رفتارهای پرخطر گردآوری شد. تحلیل دادهها با استفاده از آزمونهای کایاسکوئر و دقیق فیشر انجام گرفت. یافتهها نشان داد افراد دارای نشانههای بالینی اضطراب و افسردگی، شیوع بیشتری از برخی بیماریهای جسمی از جمله بیماریهای قلبی، مشکلات گوارشی و آسم و نیز رفتارهای پرخطر مانند مصرف دخانیات، الکل و مواد مخدر داشتند. با این حال، ارتباط برخی اختلالات جسمی مانند دیابت و اختلالات تیروئید در همه موارد معنادار نبود. نتایج این پژوهش بر وجود تعامل میان سلامت روان و جسم تأکید دارد و ضرورت توجه همزمان به ابعاد روانشناختی، جسمانی و رفتاری را در برنامههای مراقبت سلامت نشان میدهد.

Anxiety and depressive disorders are among the most common psychological problems and may be associated with physical illnesses and high-risk behaviors, thereby affecting individual and social well-being. The present study aimed to investigate the relationship of anxiety and depression with physical diseases and high-risk behaviors among young Iranian adults. This cross-sectional study was conducted on 3,013 individuals aged 19–40 years, including students of Malayer University and their acquaintances, who were selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using the anxiety and depression subscales of the Symptom Checklist-90-Revised (SCL-90-R) developed by Leonard R. Derogatis (1977) and a researcher-made questionnaire assessing physical illnesses and high-risk behaviors. Data were analyzed using chi-square and Fisher’s exact tests. The findings indicated that individuals with clinical symptoms of anxiety and depression reported a higher prevalence of certain physical illnesses, including cardiovascular diseases, gastrointestinal problems, and asthma, as well as high-risk behaviors such as smoking, alcohol consumption, and substance abuse. However, the associations with some physical disorders, including diabetes and thyroid disorders, were not significant in all cases. The findings highlight the interaction between mental and physical health and emphasize the importance of integrated healthcare approaches that simultaneously address psychological, physical, and behavioral dimensions of health.
